"To whom it may concern;- Bernard King and Emily Visser
We are very happy to write a letter of testimonial on behalf of Suzanne Manvell, the Re/Max Real Estate Agent who in early 2010 helped us sell our house and purchase a new home.
In March 2010, we contacted Suzanne as one of a seriers of agents we were considering to represent us. Our intention was to watch the market and, should we think it opportune, to sell and purchase in quite quick order. In our initial contact, we were quite impressed by Suzanne's personaleness. She took an immediate interest in our needs and wishes, and seemed willing to allow us to direct the process. This balance of professional advise and active engagement prompted us to work with her.
Throughout the first months of our house hunting, Suzanne simply made suggestions and gave us options. She strongly recommended that we attend to our current home while looking for a new home - arguing, correctly, that we would need to move quickly should we find what we wanted. And she made herself available to us on most nights of the week to look at prospective houses.
At the outset, we were very broad in our scope of what we wanted to see. And Suzanne was a willing partner. At each stop, she made suggestions, gave context, listened to our discussion, offered counter-point. She seemed tireless - repeatedly we were the ones to flag before her. She was always willing to take us to just one more.
Throughout our process, Suzanne's willingness to give an honest opinion when requested. After about 30 houses and as many days of house-hunting, we saw a house we liked a great deal. On our second visit to the house, Suzanne facilited a discussion between us that concluded with our realization that the renovation costs would be exorbitant. She could have grasped the opportunity to be rid of us, but instead she reinforced our recognition that she was putting our needs before any expediency to see the process conclude.
After seeing about 40 houses, we returned from work one day to discover a package of information about a house Suzanne had seen. She had taken the initiative to see the house alone as we were unable to join her, and she immediately recognized that we would like it. This is the home we currently own.
Throughout the purchase and sale process, Suzanne exhibited significant negotiations skills. Suzanne was calm, even-tempered and firm. She never lost control of the process. she divulged nothing that would weaken our position, and solicted much that made our position stronger. And she was able to close the deal.
As you can gather, we are so grateful to Suzanne for her care and assistance throughout this significant period of our lives. The selection of a real estate agent is a personal issue; the agent plays an intense role in an incredibly stressful and momentous process. We were so grateful to have found Suzanne through our, consider her now a friend. We wish you all the best in your house hunting.
"Suzanne's passion is immeasurable/ Her positive energy and caring nature brings light to the room and shines in everything she does. My home sold so quickly we had to cancel the oprn house, which was very exciting! It was a pleasure working with Suzanne."- Tracy Lefler
